Terms & Conditions

1) Who we are

Fan Finds is a curated commerce service offering exclusive, limited-run items. Our prices reflect careful selection, sourcing and handling, and logistics across borders. Further identity details are available in our Legal Notice.

 
2) Scope & language

These Terms govern all purchases from Fan Finds via our website. Contract language is English. We do not store the contract text in a way accessible to you later—please save/print the order confirmation and these Terms.

3) How the contract is formed

Adding items to cart is non-binding. On checkout you can review and correct inputs. By clicking “Place Order & Pay” (or the equivalent in PayPal/Google Pay), you place a binding order with an obligation to pay. We accept your order by email confirmation; a contract then exists between you and Fan Finds.

4) Customer information (pre-contract)

• Technical steps: You can review and correct your data on the checkout page before submitting.
• Contact & complaints: hello@fanfinds.store. We’re open to mediation via the Universalschlichtungsstelle des Bundes (see §18).
• Codes of conduct: none.

5) Prices, VAT, currency

5.1 EU/EEA delivery addresses. Displayed prices are final consumer prices and include VAT at the applicable rate; the VAT amount appears on the invoice.
5.2 Non-EU delivery addresses. We do not charge EU VAT. From time to time, we may offer destination-specific promotions for non-EU deliveries at our discretion (see §9).
5.3 Currency & exchange. Prices are set in EUR. If you pay in another currency, your provider’s rates and fees apply.
5.4 Price indication (Germany). We strive to label prices in line with German PAngV (e.g., “incl. VAT & shipping” where shipping is included, or “incl. VAT, plus shipping” with a link where not). Front-end labels may vary by destination and service level. 

6) Shipping, origin & timing

6.1 Origin. Goods may dispatch from the EU or from non-EU locations.
6.2 Typical timing. Most orders dispatch in 3–5 business days; typical transit 18–22 days. Tracking provided where available. Customs and carrier events can cause delays beyond our control.
6.3 Import charges (non-EU). Local taxes, duties, brokerage or carrier fees may be due on import unless we explicitly state otherwise at checkout. If we legally must collect such charges at checkout, they will be shown before you submit the order.

7) Delivery address & risk of loss

7.1 Address accuracy. Please ensure your address is complete and current. Orders delivered to an incorrect/outdated address provided by you cannot be refunded or resent.
7.2 Passing of risk (EU/EEA). Risk of loss passes to you only when you or a third party you designate (other than the carrier) physically receive the goods. If tracking shows delivered but you did not receive the parcel, contact us within 48 hours so we can investigate. (Consumer Rights Directive, Art. 20.) 

8) Availability, fraud screening & obvious errors

We may limit or cancel orders flagged by fraud checks, or cancel for unavailability, supply issues, or obvious pricing errors. If we cancel before dispatch, we refund in full; if we correct an error, we’ll contact you for consent.

9) Promotions & coupon codes

(a) Eligibility. Promotions may be limited by destination (e.g., non-EU addresses), product category, dates, order value, or other criteria determined by the delivery address at checkout.
(b) Application. Unless stated otherwise, coupons apply to the merchandise subtotal before taxes, duties, carrier fees, and shipping upgrades; not redeemable for cash; not retroactive; not combinable; one coupon per order.
(c) Exclusions. Coupons may exclude gift cards or limited editions.
(d) Misuse & revocation. We may decline or revoke a promotion (or ask to reprice) where a code is applied contrary to its terms or due to technical error. If the delivery address is changed after order placement (e.g., from non-EU to EU or vice versa), we may request the price difference or cancel and refund before dispatch.
(e) Transfer. Coupons are non-transferable unless expressly stated.
(f) Refunds on cancellation for ineligible coupon use. Where we cancel prior to dispatch because a destination-limited coupon was used ineligiblely (e.g., a non-EU code applied to an EU/EEA address), we refund minus only non-refundable third-party payment processing and currency conversion charges actually incurred. This deduction does not apply where (i) the cancellation is due to our or system error, or (ii) you exercise a statutory right of withdrawal (EU consumers), in which case we refund in full. If your local mandatory law prohibits such deductions, we refund in full. You may demonstrate that no loss or a lower loss occurred.
(g) Cure option. Before cancelling for ineligible coupon use, we may offer a short window (e.g., 24 hours) to keep the order by paying the difference; if not accepted in time, we proceed under (f).

10) Gifts, bundles & promotions

Gifts with purchase must be returned with the qualifying items or we deduct the gift’s stated retail value. For bundles, refunds are adjusted to the standalone prices of items kept.

11) Community access & fair use

Access links, media and pricing shared in our private channels are for personal use only. Scraping, bulk downloading, republication, link-sharing outside the community, or resale without consent is prohibited. We may revoke access or cancel orders for violations.

12) Product classification & intended use

Tea and herbal infusions are placed on the market as food and labeled accordingly; we make no health or medical claims. Non-food items (incense, ceramics, tools) are offered for personal use and cultural appreciation. See product pages for care & safety instructions.

13) Care, safety & intended use (summary)

Follow the product page Care & Use instructions. Highlights:
• Ceramics/porcelain: Avoid thermal shock, open flame, microwave/dishwasher unless expressly allowed; hand-wash gently.
• Tea: Use potable water; store cool/dry/dark; tea contains caffeine unless stated otherwise.
• Incense & burners: Burn on heat-resistant surfaces with ventilation; never leave unattended; keep from children/pets.
Non-compliant use or storage can void conformity to the extent permitted by law.

14) EU consumers — right of withdrawal & returns

14.1 Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA). You have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases, starting the day after you (or a person you designate, other than the carrier) receive the goods. For multi-item orders delivered separately, the period starts when the last item is received. Details, exceptions, return costs, refund timing, and the Model Withdrawal Form (use optional) are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy; nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
14.2 Hygiene-sealed goods. For health and hygiene reasons, tea, herbs and incense are not returnable once opened or if a hygiene seal is broken, as set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
14.3 Non-EU customers. For deliveries outside the EU/EEA, we accept returns when items arrive damaged, faulty or incorrect; change-of-mind returns may not be available unless mandated by local law (see Returns & Refunds Policy).

15) Legal guarantee (warranty)

15.1 Duration. For consumer purchases delivered within the EU/EEA, you benefit from a minimum 2-year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery, with remedies per law. 
15.2 Primary remedy. Upon notice of lack of conformity, we will repair or replace free of charge within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience; if impossible or disproportionate, you may request a price reduction or rescind with refund.
15.3 Presumption period. If a lack of conformity becomes apparent within 12 months of delivery, it is presumed to have existed at delivery unless incompatible with the goods or defect.
15.4 Repair choice — extended guarantee. Where you elect repair, EU law now extends the legal guarantee by an extra year post-repair under the amended Sale of Goods Directive (once implemented nationally). 
15.5 Exclusions consistent with law. Normal wear/cosmetic changes; artisanal/natural material variations disclosed on the product page; misuse or non-compliant storage/care; and unusually intensive non-household use are not defects.

16) Damage on arrival & notifications

Please notify visible shipping damage promptly (ideally within 48 hours) and retain packaging to support carrier claims; late notice doesn’t remove your statutory rights but may delay assessment. See Returns & Refunds Policy for the photo checklist. 

17) Cancellations before dispatch

You may cancel within 24 hours if dispatch/sourcing hasn’t begun. Approved cancellations may incur up to 10% to cover non-refundable gateway/admin costs. After dispatch begins, see the Returns & Refunds Policy.

18) ADR (alternative dispute resolution) & ODR

We are willing to participate in mediation with the Universalschlichtungsstelle des Bundes (Zentrum für Schlichtung e.V., Straßburger Straße 8, 77694 Kehl am Rhein). The EU’s ODR platform has been discontinued; traders are no longer required to link to it.

19) Liability & force majeure

We’re not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond our control (e.g., customs holds, carrier disruptions, strikes, natural events, government actions). Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.

20) Governing law

German law applies; mandatory consumer protections in your country remain unaffected.

21) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; changes apply to orders placed after the new effective date.
